How to see and clear the history of commands in the Terminal on the Mac

Being able to view the history of the inputed commands in the Mac Terminal can be extremely useful. For example, you may want to remember the commands that changed the settings of the operating system a few weeks or months ago. And you can do it in a simple way.

Step 1. Run Terminal and dial the team below

Step 2. Press Return

Immediately after that, you will have the whole history of the Terminal, with all the teams performed earlier. If you’re looking for a specific command you want to repeat, just find it on the list, copy it, paste through the Terminal window, and click Return.

Once the team history is cleared, and it happens almost instantly, you can check that the action is correct. To do this, write a “history” command in the Terminal again and make sure that the story no longer contains any information.
